Project Overview
Czytnik was developed as part of a group university project at the College of Economics and Computer Science in Cracow. The application functions as a complete online bookstore with user management, catalog browsing, and order processing capabilities.
My Responsibilities
Within the team, my main responsibility involved designing and exposing data-handling controllers. I created the API layer that bridges the frontend interface with the database, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Technical Evolution
The application was built using ASP.NET Core with Razor Pages for the frontend. Originally, the project used MS SQL Server as the database, but was later migrated to PostgreSQL to improve deployment flexibility and reduce licensing costs.
